The Laser Cut Vacuforming box, crafted at Fab Lab Tulsa, is made from 3mm masonite. Assemble it using glue or tape; its internal structure supports the upper surface. Connect to a shop vac and place your object on the surface. Turn on the vacuum and cover with a melted plastic sheet for vacuforming. Porous polyurethane foam, like butter board, works well as it lets air pass through. Affordable thermoformable plastic can be found in plastic plates, which can also be laser-cut to fit in your toaster.
