It is sometimes used with a couple of frigates for support for "bully" raids on more numerous enemy escorts; for this purpose, it has no less than four firecontrol suites. These also aid the vessel when performing its other tasks, using the lazer lances to disable enemy vessels for capture by literally slicing critical components from the enemy ship.
