VA INNOV ENTRY 4-press and open string hand

The press-and-open mechanism features sets of springs; one controls hand opening while another governs closing. When at rest or with the push button depressed, the hand is closed as an inner string pulls fingers inward (located within each finger). Upon releasing the button, this string relaxes, allowing springs to extend fingers outward, creating an open position. The string runs through holes leading to a small pulley and connects to the button. When pressed, a larger vertical spring pushes the button downward, pulling the string for inward finger curling. Both fingers and palm have embedded rubber for secure gripping.
