V7 Fidget Spinner - Tungsten weights

thingiverse

Yet another fidget spinner of mine! This one boasts a robust rotor, crafted with two 40-gram tungsten golf weights to ensure maximum stability and a full ceramic bearing for prolonged spin times. You can truly feel the added weight in the rotor. Ceramic bearings offer superior smoothness, but slightly shorter spin durations, while regular steel skate bearings are simply adequate. Try spinning it up using compressed air - it really takes off! My best hand-spin record is 2 minutes and 14 seconds. Weighing in at a hefty 102 grams, this spinner far exceeds the V2's 45-gram mark. The 40-gram weights used here can be sourced from Ebay; make sure to grab an install wrench too - it'll only set you back a pound or so, or else you might find yourself struggling to fit them in! Check out my fidget spinner at goo.gl/roifHU. I opted for two 40-gram weights, but they come in sizes starting from 5 grams, giving you plenty of room to experiment and fine-tune your design. The center "mushrooms" on this model are a departure from my usual style; if you're interested in seeing them again, feel free to shoot me a private message.
