V6 mount for X-carriage system

V6 mount for X-carriage system

thingiverse

This is a remix on the original X Carriage system by lemasbrot. I've included my own SolidWorks files to help those looking to improve on the design. SolidWorks is a very powerful 3D modeling system, free to makers and students. The system has several key differences: * Correctly sized to accept V6 clones. V6 is shorter than the V5, which comes with the FLSUN printer. If used with a V5 mount, V6's heating block will melt the bottom of the shroud. * The shroud is designed to accept a 40mm fan instead of the stock 30mm fan included with V6 clones. * All holes are sized to accept M3 bolts plus press-fitted M3 nuts on the back side. This makes mounting and dismounting the parts much quicker. * The part is made to mount to the original X carriage from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2521909. To use the mount, simply print the original carriage or any number of X-carriage remixes out there. For example, I am currently using this carriage: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2800992.
