Hey! This gun controller for the HTC Vive sports a design inspired by the geometry of a G36 rifle. It's specifically tailored for use in Onward - other games work just fine too. Two 3D-printed parts are secured to the right-hand controller via three M3 screws. The left-hand controller can be freely inserted and removed from its horizontal housing to reload or used to support it vertically. The buttstock can be detached and reattached using a simple locking mechanism, making one-handed weapons usage still easy as pie. Two types of locks are featured - one requires manual opening, while the other opens when pulled. A small spring or piece of foam can be used to keep the lock closed. For smaller printers, the buttstock is divided into three parts that need to be glued or bolted together. It's a prototype, so there might still be some issues, especially with the locks. The largest part measures about 190mm in length. https://youtu.be/88r29WhZc6M Enjoy! Edit: Just a heads-up - some people may have trouble using it in Onward. It won't work for all gun/sight combos, but there are plenty of usable ones available on Marsoc and Volk. I've used it successfully for many hours in Onward. For the best weapon fit, I recommend trying the G36 or AK5C - the MP5 and G3 also work quite well! Print Settings: Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 20% or more Notes: No high precision is required; mechanical stability is key. I printed with PETG.
