Hey there, I'm installing my dampers for my Ender 3 Pro and noticed I've got those pressed gear stepper motors. It appears Creality is using these on their new printer. The x stepper motor has a full height of 51 mm, while the y stepper motor measures 56 mm from top to bottom. My dampers are about 5-6mm tall. After careful consideration, I found an effective solution: I'm utilizing the Y stepper motor with installed dampers on the X axis. Another option is using the x stepper motor on the Y axis but removing the pressed gear, similar to a popular YouTube video (not mine). Instead, I created my own printed gear that can be added to the stepper motor with a hammer. I haven't tested this setup yet, but plan to do so when I have some free time. If you have any better ideas or improvements, please let me know.
