IMPROVED VERSION NOW AVAILABLE!http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1292065 This is my third public iteration, but fifth internal test, of fan ducts designed specifically for E3D hotends. It not only cools the printed object itself but also the barrel effectively. Key enhancements include: The airflow now circulates around the print in a 360-degree motion and flows at a remarkably high rate. A significant drop in backpressure from the fans is observed, resulting in airflow more than double that of my previous iteration. This improvement can be attributed to the clever integration of conic volume fillers and precisely optimized geometry. The design isn't perfectly symmetrical due to its consideration of real-world fan dynamics, such as the rotational flow component produced by a 40x40x20 Sanyo Denki fan. Incidentally, this non-symmetrical aspect contributes to enhanced cooling efficiency, particularly in areas prone to turbulence.
