The V22 Osprey Tiltrotor Helicopter was originally created with 3DMax software. Each movable part is rigged and animated, including the advanced composite rotor blades as they rotate and fold, the loading ramp opening, the refueling probe extending, and the wing deice system rotating. Two Rolls-Royce AE1107C engines power the Osprey, enabling it to perform Vertical Taking-off and Landing (VTOL) and Short Taking-off and Landing (STOL) with its two tiltrotors. The rotors create the necessary lift for takeoff and landing like a conventional helicopter, while both engines are connected to a mid-wing gearbox that drives the tilting mechanism. The Osprey's tires are inflated with nitrogen gas, and it features dual-wheeled energy-absorbing landing gears on all three wheels. The aft ramp door serves as the primary entry point for cargo loading. Inside the cabin, 24 combat-ready troopers can be accommodated at any given time. As a conventional turboprop, the rotors propel the aircraft forward. The Osprey can also receive air refueling through the probe-and-drogue method.
