[v2 Update: 2023.02.15] Ender 3 S1 Pro Filament Runout Sensor Standalone Mount
thingiverse
A simple mount to attach the filament runout sensor to the upper frame when not using the factory spool holder. Be carefull not to loose the small metal spacer in the sensor's swivel mount when you unscrew it from the spool holder. Updates ------- • 2023.02.15: v2 angles the resting position of the arm up 18°. • 2023.01.25: Made the base a little wider for better stability. Versions -------- • I recommend using the v2 holder, but I have left the original one just in case. The new holder raises the arm's resting angle up 18° and has the sensor pivot sitting over top of it instead, which is reversed from the original model. I would never see the sensor drop any lower then that during prints. I found that angle works well if you have your spool mounted sideways, or in my case, inside a SUNLU S2 filament dryer on top. Hardware -------- • (1) M3x10mm socket cap screw • (1) M3 nut Buy Me a Coffee? ---------------- Do you like my work? You can buy me a coffee at https://ko-fi.com/vampyrex13.
