Print all parts in duplicate (or triple if you're exceptionally strong). Make sure to use the correct plugs (self-drilling steel plugs for M4 in my case). To open the gate, simply lift it up and swing it open at the same time. Even a nine-month-old baby can't figure it out... yet! They try every day. The screw serves as a stop, so attach it last. Always keep your child under close supervision. Be sure to secure small parts that can be swallowed (vis.stl), tightening them well or even gluing them in place.
