This 1:87 scale V2 Rocket, standing approximately 160mm tall, is a plastic kit replica meticulously modeled using Solid Edge software. An update on November 19th added base support for enhanced printing quality and easier removal of support material, making it ideal for printing with Slic3r (support off) and recommending brim widths of 3mm or more to secure the fins. The use of a cooling fan is advised for optimal results. Initially, Skeinforge was preferred over Slic3r due to G-code generation issues, but later updates rectified this problem with support files off and brim on in Slic3r. Users report success after modifying the design as time allows.
