v2 replica laser cut extruder
thingiverse
This DIY dual extrusion project involves an extruder drive design based on Ultimaker and Bertho's designs, featuring a new clamp style. However, it's not the closed-source laser cut pattern for the original Ultimaker v2 drive or compatible with either design. To create this, you'll need 1/8" plywood, 3mm delrin, and various hardware including a 60 lb/in spring and an M4 washer. When laser cutting the plywood, use high-power raster to carve out space for bearings and wheels. Print the block with high internal fill as it's a crucial structural part.
