v2 Nintendo Switch 3-axis adjustable Joy-Con Grip - print in place

Version History v2 Add support for original metal Joy-Con rails, allowing a greater fit for the sliding part. Kudos to Sigismond0 for suggesting this change. The two parts need to be combined for print-in-place feasibility. joy-con-grip-with-rails-v2-part1.stl joy-con-grip-with-rails-v2-part2.stl Add small cutout for easy Joy-Con removal (both rail + no rail versions) joy-con-grip-v2.stl v1 Initial release of the design Hold your Joy-Cons comfortably in your hands with this adjustable 3-axis foldable grip. It can also serve as a calibration test for your printer. The hinges have a .3mm tolerance to ensure a firm grip and prevent flimsiness. This grip fits my folding switch stand, which was designed to fit into the smallest pocket. Everything prints in-place without screws or glue. Remove the hinges carefully from the printer, and you're ready to go. I recommend printing with PLA to avoid warping and sagging issues (bridging of the rails part). Print Settings Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker 2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 150 microns Infill: 15% Post-Printing Metal Rails Removal from Joy-Con Wrist Strap Remove three Phillips screws holding the metal rail in place. Be cautious not to lose the small plastic part or tiny spring underneath the metal rail. Then, take off the rails and insert them into your printed part. It only fits one way (the cutout faces the closing side). Use original screws for tightening, but don't overtighten due to the plastic material. Insert Joy-Cons from bottom to top.
