V2 Lithophane Frame
thingiverse
This is an updated version of the lithophane frame created by @JohnOldman. The new frame includes a second panel slot allowing for a 1mm thick diffusing panel to be inserted between the LEDs and lithophane. Originally the LEDs were shining too bright and concentrated through the litho even with efforts to make the litho thicker. The LEDs are cut in six rows, with 8 LEDs in each, all wired in parallel and supplied 5V from a stripped micro-USB cable. For the lithophane, I used lithophanemaker.com. Below are the settings to allow for a proper fit in the frame. I encourage you to experiment with other variations (Specifically the overhang angle and depth).Lithophane Resolution: 0.2mmWidth: 144mmHeight: 113mmDepth: 2mmBase Height: 6mmOverhang Angle: 60degMax Thickness: 5mmMin Thickness: 1.8mmLEDs:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08M65DKZ7?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1Rocker Switch:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SPY9H7Y?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
