Hi, I built a brand new reel for trout fishing with natural lures. Here's a video of the reel in action: http://youtu.be/7kuYB_0Mzwo. It weighs in at 45g, making it an excellent choice for my forearm! With no brake system, if I do manage to catch a trout, I'll need to use some hand-eye coordination and quickly press the fishing line against both my hand and the fishing rod. Two new holes are also drilled into this reel to secure plastic clips - super useful for anglers who don't have the standard ring setup on their rods. I'm looking forward to giving it a try out soon!
