(v2.5) The Clothespin Pocket Pistol "3d printed!" V2.5 Bolt Action

thingiverse

Version 2.5 of "The Clothespin Pocket Pistol" has been released, featuring a new bolt component and the ability to reload/tension spring from the back. Key improvements include a 5mm barrel diameter compatible with .177 caliber (4.5mm) ammo, a bolt action system for no more jamming, and easy one-movement loading with automatic spring locking. Built-in support means no additional slicer support is needed. However, this version has smaller parts and increased overhang, so printer settings may require adjustment. Cleaning out support and obstacles allows the bolt to move freely, but smaller ammo (toothpicks) might get stuck, and the bolt part may need replacement over time. Credit goes to YouTube and Instructables sources, with thanks to Jaidyn Edwards for reviewing the design. This work-in-progress Thing will have a 4mm barrel v2 with bolt action when time allows. Always prioritize safety and avoid shooting near eyes. Print all parts together, scaling up by 4% due to ABS shrinkage. Bolt should be printed horizontally without scaling, and it's best to print two end plugs at once for cooling. Use 0.20mm layer height, 5 shells for strength, and 15% infill.
