V12 Engine Animation (KeyShot Challenge)

V12 Engine Animation (KeyShot Challenge)

grabcad

This submission is for KeyShot's 'Get Your Toon On' Render Challenge. The model in the animation, a V12 Engine, was designed in SolidWorks by me. You can access the KeyShot bip file and 720p animation video from the project files. Created using KeyShot 4.1 and Photoshop CS6, the animation features an exploded view with camera movement, made easy through "Select parts with material" and "Paste linked animation" commands in KeyShot. The second part of the video showcases the engine's movement, a challenging task that required exporting each frame individually with the 'retain material' option checked, followed by rendering in 2 different saved cameras - each frame featuring an increased angle of the crankshaft by 15 degrees. If you have any queries, feel free to comment.
