"V10" a redesign of the GRRF PRotos
thingiverse
This printer, inspired by the GRR PROtos metal frame, aims to rectify design flaws encountered during 1,000 hours of printing. It boasts enhanced performance with upgraded components such as stable 10mm linear guides for all axes and a precise 8mm trapezoid thread for the Z-axis. The printer also features a specialized cooling system for optimal PLA printing, compatible with standard GRR Hotend. It is equipped with an improved Hotend version suitable for E3D nozzles and a larger heat block for better extrusion temperature control. A unique extruder adapter allows for direct extrusion with easy filament transport. Although a 5:1 gear Nema17 can be mounted, it is advised to use higher than 12V voltage to avoid retraction issues. The printer supports Hotends with a 16mm mounting diameter. Detailed photos showcase the precision of the printer, including a printed hand with finger diameters ranging from 1.2 to 2 mm, printed using a 0.4 nozzle. While the parts are not available for download, inquiries can be made for purchasing options.
