This thing includes a box designed to hold the Arduino Mega + Ramps board. The EletronicBox.stl file contains the design for this box. An 80mm PC fan can be used to cool the electronics, and there is space to install it. Ramps1.4_Applatie.stl is an alternative version of the same box that can be printed flat. This box was designed specifically for use with the Scalar XL 3D printer. You will also need the LCD front cover, which is available in the EletronicBox_LCD.stl file. #Upgrades: * V2.5: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1437311 #Updates: * March 23, 2016 - Added a left side with a simple grid. * February 13, 2016 - Released Ramps_Box_1.4_Base_V2, which is the base of the box that can be used if you plan to mount the LCD on the back. The base was opened up to reduce the amount of plastic needed to print it. * February 13, 2016 - Updated Ramps_Box_1.4_Fan_Front.stl to make it thinner. * February 1, 2016 - Made several changes to the models so that the box can be reversed. Now you can choose which side is the front and which one is the back! * October 20, 2015 - Added Ramps1.4_Applatie.stl To reverse the original front into the back of the box, you will need to print Ramps_Box_1.4_Plain_Front.stl. The LCD display can then be mounted on the back of the box. A special hole is now available for passing the LCD wires through. We also provide an 80mm fan grid that can be placed on top for safety reasons. The file for this fan grid is 80mmFanGrid.stl. Additionally, we include a small goodie - the LCD knob. If your LCD 2004 didn't come with a knob that fits properly, you can use this one instead. This package is compatible with both Scalar Family 3D Printers (Scalar M and Scalar XL).
