This is an original design that I have made and am currently working on. This is still in development and a work in progress. The Design uses 3 5015 Radial Fans to cool parts and the heat break. With the possibility for a 2 5015 fan Configuration. V1.1.1: Backplate ChangesNoticed that the CR Touch was still hitting parts of the print during filleted overhangs / bridges Raised the Mount higher by 0.75mm from V1.1One of screw holes on the back was a little too tight on tolerance. Increased the hole size to 2.75mm for easier fitment.New ADXL-345 MountAdded a file that goes onto the Front of the extruder for an ADXL-345You will need to switch out the M3x6mm Screws on the Top Front of the Left and Right wings to M3x8mm Screws for this part.V1.1 : Back Plate ChangesAdjusted CR-Touch Mount higher by 0.3mmSome people have been having issues with the CR-Touch Colliding with prints. This is compatible with V1.0 Existing parts, and won't require any additional reprints of the partsV1.0 :Triple 5015 Configuration uses 2 fans wired in parallel for Part CoolingUsing 2 Fans Instead of 3 for is a possible option for the design. For a 2 Fan Configuration, remove the right wing, with only the left wing and the backplate attached. This will make it so you only have 1 5015 for cooling heater block and 1 5015 for part coolingAnother 5015 Fan is used to cool the heat breakThe design is kept as compact as possible (for a triple 5015 fan configuration) keeping the fans as low as possible and as close as possible to the extruder. The low profile gives plenty of clearance for those running LED lights at the top of the gantry.Nozzle can be easily viewed from the front. No more leaning from the side to check on Z-Offset for the first layer. BOM:PiecesPart11 - 13M3x6mm Socket Head Hex Screws0- 2M3x8mm Socket Head Hex Screws1M3x4mm Socket Head Hex Screws3 - 5M3x20mm Socket Head Hex Screws2 - 35015 Radial Fans2M3 Nuts1CR-Touch1Sprite ExtruderRecommended Material: For any prints under 270C - PETG would be able to handle the heat.Anything that has 100C or higher glass transition temp. would be recommendedRecommended Settings:0.16mm - 0.2mm Layer Height30% Infill3 Walls3 Top and Bottom LayersSupport Settings:Overhang Threshold Angle: 45 DegreesThe Cooling system was design for as little support as possible where support on build plate is necessary. There are a few areas that require support. The Top of the heat break exhaust redirection port and within the fan ducts depending on which version.CR-Touch Offset: X-Axis: -49.15mmY-Axis: 0Bed Mesh Maximum:  250, 290Weight: 1 5015 Radial Fan Weighs approx. ~26g 3D printed assembly total weight (not including fans and screws): 40g - 45gFan Duct DesignThe Fan Duct was designed so the airflow would be able to travel the shortest amount of distance as possible from the fan to the part. The outlet of the fan duct is kept as wide as possible to prevent any flow reduction going to the fans.Had to narrow the height of the duct because for clearance reasons.2 Versions fan ducts:With inner wallsInner Walls within the fan duct to remove the need for support for the inner portion of the ductsMore of a quality of life change than anything as the added inner walls slightly reduces airflow to part cooling.Without inner wallsFor set ups that can handle <15mm BridgesThis is the ideal set up for the most efficient part cooling— Current Issues:The current design, at it's lowest point has only a ~ 1mm clearance from the print bed. While I have not had any problems yet this might pose as a problem for others as it makes the design less forgiving with variance on leveled beds and warping. Could be prone to failed prints due to base of the wings hitting the part.I have plans on developing a design with a higher oriented base.Future Plans:I plan to expand the platformCreate a modular interface to be able to use multiple types of fansAdd Support for both Radial and Axial Type FansAdd mounting points for multiple types of accelerometersCreate a more modular interface for further customization on fan duct outlets More Projects Planned to come!
