V0.2 (mini sb) adxl x carriage UNTESTED
thingiverse
A version of the V0.2 x carriage with a permanent mount for the adxl345 (generic not adafruit). It should entirely clear the z axis extrusions though if you have something mounted that sticks out above the rear upright 1515 extrusions like a webcam amount, it will crash. !!!UNTEST Use at you own risk and make sure you have spares printed!!! Print the x carriage slow and hot to ensure it stays in one piece 1. You'll need to de-solder any headers on the adxl unless they haven't been already soldered. I would recommend using a chopped down cat5,6,7 ethernet cable without the outer sleeve. 2. Solder the adxl while the back is firmly pressed against a silicone pad or other heat resistant surface (that won't stick to solder) the point being that you don't want much, if any solder sticking out the back of the board. 3. Make sure the wires are soldered towards the front of the toolhead so you can route the cables with the hotend and fan wires. 4. Use two M2x12 self tapping bolts preferably countersunk but button or socket will work as long as the bolt head is larger than 3.2mm in diameter. Superglue may also be worth adding to the rear of the adxl345 to reduce the chance that vibration might loosen the mount. Don't worry about the funny guy stl
