V-Slot Tool Holder

V-Slot Tool Holder

I created a tool holder that primarily holds hex wrenches with handles, which I find invaluable for 3D printing. The tools also include two small screwdrivers, a putty knife similar to those found in most 3D printers, and a shelf for my tweezers. Several round magnet holes along the front allow me to hold the putty knife and tweezers securely in place. This tool holder also acts as a corner brace, stiffening the v-slots and preventing any pinching of wires like mine that need to wrap around the corner. The tools sit far enough from the gantry that they shouldn't get in the way. I designed this tool holder using TinkerCAD, which is not overly complex but will require supports when printed. I used PLA for my print, but PETG would be a better choice due to its durability and resistance to warping.
