V-Slot Mini Carriage

V-Slot Mini Carriage

thingiverse

I built a miniature carriage for my side table, crafted from v-slot extrusions as a hobby. I used 4mm bearings scattered around to create the base of the wheels. The base plate was designed with a quarter-inch hole to accommodate my articulated arm, allowing me to securely hold my phone while programming. The Freecad source is publicly available, inviting users to customize and design their own plates to fit specific needs. Some required hardware includes 20mm long M4 screws and nuts, as well as 4mm x 13mm x 5mm ball bearings (available at Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AUB7M3C/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1).
