V-Slot Clip-On Endcap Covers

Update 1/8/2023Someone asked for an option for 2 - V-slot 2060s side by side, so I added an option for 4060 & also a 4080 that will work for both 2x 2060 & 2x 2080. This openscad version is now Rev46 with 4 STL files for each option added. Of course you can also customize these more by adjusting the openscad variables further.I wanted to add Endcap covers to my Sphinx 55 build without using screws to hold them on. I only needed it for 2060. Since these were similar to all the other V-Slots, I made it customizable for all the sizes. You can either use the thingiverse customizer, included STL files or download the openscad file & use that. I used the profile https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2937519/ to start with for the exterior, but it was too tight with some PLA's I use. I ended up using this profile https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:940458 as a template for both the interior & exterior clips.This will work with V-Slot 2020, 2040, 2060, 2080, C-Beam & 4040. I have only tested fit with 2020, 2040 & 2060. I was going to just make a clip for the interior cavities, but 2020 does not have that.Category: 3D Printer Parts
