I've had some spare V-slot laying around so I tried building a side table myself instead of ordering new parts. Since I didn't want to wait any longer, I 3D printed fresh parts to speed up the assembly process. I started by using the fact that 3mm nuts fit perfectly inside the V-slot as a foundation to create my own tee nut. From there, I made corner wedges and corner plates in addition to two different types of tees. A huge thank you goes out to Bobnet - his excellent V-slot caps greatly simplified this process for me because I could use his STL file as a starting point for measurements and shapes, saving me from all the trial and error that would normally be involved. For anyone interested in making their own V-slot parts, FreeCAD is now available for them.
