V-Roller Bearing Press
thingiverse
I had to change out my worn out V-Rollers on my printer, and it felt like a waste throwing out all the old ones with perfectly good bearings, so I designed a small bearing press to remove them for later projects. I printed at 100% infill for maximum durability, but I'm unsure if that's necessary. Print both the inner and outer portions. Insert the V-roller in the outer section, then with the inner, use the short peg to center it in the V-roller. Insert the assembly into a vise or press, and push it out. There will be a pop (the center ring of the wheel breaking off), then it will come out relatively smooth. You may be able to use a hammer as well, but I haven't tried. The bearings in the wheels are standard 625 bearings, which is pretty handy to have.
