V-channel Mount for 7" PanelDue
thingiverse
This is a custom enclosure for the PanelDue, specifically designed to accommodate the 7" LCD screen included with the package from Filastruder. The enclosure allows users to mount their PanelDue unit to a 2040 or 2020 series v-channel extrusion, similar to how it's done on my D-Bot-derived printer. The enclosure consists of three parts: the first part bolts directly to the V-channel, while the rear of the enclosure screws into the mount using two M4 screws with a length of 6-8mm. The LCD screen attaches securely to the front panel via four short M3 screws (approximately 6-8mm long), and then the front panel clicks into place within the rear panel, held by four flat-topped M4 screws measuring 15-18mm. A convenient feature is the 10mm hole in the mount for wire management. This hole is specifically designed to accommodate a 1/4" inner-diameter wiring loom, which can be secured inside the enclosure with a small zip tie. For those looking to manage their wiring, the ring clips used in the photos are available and compatible with a 10mm inner diameter. Specifically, you can find these clips at Thingiverse under the reference number 2477149. Note: An experimental version of the enclosure has been uploaded for users with 3030 extrusion. Please ensure that you download and print the correct version for your specific extrusion type (2020/2040 or 3030).
