M8 nuts, self-retaining# V-BrakeThe design has been tested with a Shimano V-Brake Alivio BR-T4000 (Shimano EBRT4000FX43SLP) from Kurbelix.de.# Model## Front SideWith the cantilever socket raised by 6mm for clearance of the cantilever in the upper area. # Back SideHolding the Nuts (4x M5, 1x M8) # Design Parameters* Pipe dimensions as an oval (x,y): p_x, p_y Adapt these to your bicycle* minimum wall thickness w around screws (only outer side) Default = 5mm* tuning parameter for a tight fit: eps Default = -0.05mm# 3D PrintingThis model has been tested on a Prusa i3 MK3 with PETG.
