The Vulcan starship Suurok-class, designated as a science vessel and combat cruiser, boasted a long, cylindrical primary hull and a unique circular, ring-shaped warp drive during the mid-22nd century. With speeds of Warp 6.5 for the science vessel variant and Warp 7 for the combat version, this design was one of the fastest and most powerful in the Vulcan fleet by the 2150s. The Suurok was equipped with standard particle beam weapons, capable of disabling or destroying a force of three Mazarite ships in battle. Additionally, it possessed "classified" tractor beam technology from Earth Starfleet, housed on the lower part of the primary hull ahead of the warp drive.
