All texture applications for these formats rely solely on these source files. For all other formats - OBJ, 3DS, DXF, and DWG, textures are embedded manually within each individual file as a result of lacking embedded texture functionality. Each format is therefore not dependent upon master textures contained within the MaxZip archive. However all textures in the root directory apply universally to an entire FBX scene.
