V 2 Engine Model
youmagine
After buying a Moto Guzzi V7, I wanted to create a model of its 90°-V2-engine. So here's Version 1.0 - next versions will include cylinder heads, valves, and a camshaft, but that requires more effort and time than this simple model. Printing: Print two Conrod1/2, Cylinder, Piston, and Piston bold twice; the rest only needs to be printed once. I printed it with my Prusa l3 - support is only necessary for crankshaft1 and the Cylinders. Stick both parts of the crankshaft into the housing; it will fit without glue, with the crank on the right side. Then attach the cylinders to the housing, ensuring that the holes align well. Next, insert the piston bold through the first hole in the piston, then through the conrod and into the second hole of the piston - you may need a hammer. Begin pushing the first piston through the cylinder and attach the second Conrod part on the other side; be sure not to glue it onto the crankshaft. Once the glue has dried, apply some silicone spray for lubrication. Ideas and criticism in the comment section would be greatly appreciated.
