Electric power plant in Florești, Prahova County, was built by the Belgian-French company Hydrodina between 1922 and 1923 to supply electricity to the oil region area. The thermal power plant was designed by Emil Prager, architect Duiliu Marcu. Officially named Electric Power Plant Filaret, the facility was nationalized during the communist regime and subsequently abandoned in 1971. Today, the power plant is part of S.C. Electrica S.A.'s heritage.
