The Uzebox is a revolutionary retro-minimalist 8-bit open source game console built on an AVR 8-bit general purpose microcontroller. Available for purchase at Adafruit.com, the Uzebox boasts an impressive collection of over 80 games, tools and demos created by a vibrant community that continues to grow in size and enthusiasm. The Uzebox was previously known for its minimalist design, lacking even an enclosure. However, this is no longer the case! The console now features a durable casing. Uzebox kits can be purchased at https://www.adafruit.com/product/1291. To assemble your Uzebox, follow these instructions: -Print your components using an Ultimaker 2 printer. -Faberdashery PLA in Arctic white, Classic Black, Robot Silver, and Mercury Red is used for the prints. -The print specifications are 225 deg hot end temperature and 70 heated bed. A print speed of 30mm/s was utilized, with a support structure added to the top shell for stability. -Use 6 x 3mmx12mm self-tapping screws to secure the enclosure in place. -For optimal results when printing the buttons, attach the Button-power-cap.STL, Button-power-shaft.STL, button-reset-cap.STL, and Button-reset-shaft.STL components flat-faced down. Then, apply a strong adhesive, such as CrazyGlue, to bond them together securely.
