Welcome to Yucatán! The Ancient Ruins Collection - Mesoamerica presents: Uxmal We continue The Ancient Ruins Collection--Mesoamerica, a dedicated subcollection to the legacy of past civilizations. The Pyramid of the Diviner (or Magician, Dwarf-Wizard, etc.) is the tallest building in the ancient Mayan city of Uxmal (Óoshmáal), in the Yucatán Peninsula of Mexico. This model is available in two versions: Actual state (ruins) Hypothetical reconstruction Uxmal is one of the best preserved cities of the Maya civilization in Mesoamerica. The Pyramid of the Diviner is very unusual for two reasons: it's oval shape and smooth slope, and that it preserved the highly-decorated, older temple at a lower level instead of completely covering it. It gets its name from the legend of a ruler of the city, who was a dwarf and built the pyramid in one night using magic. Uxmal is a World Heritage Site, 65 km south of Yucatan's modern capital city Mérida. Uxmal is also famous for its distinctive Maya architectural style called Puuc (from Wikipedia). MiniWorld 3D is excited to bring this historical model to life as a homage to all the people of Mexico. This model was designed by founder Dany Sánchez, from scratch.
