UVEX Bike Helmet Pad
thingiverse
The original one is a sweat-soaked sponge so I had to wash it twice a week. It broke down after several weeks of heavy use. I printed one with flexible plastic (NinjaFlex, TPU), which should be more resistant to sweat although not as soft on the skin. You can easily adjust it to your head size by scaling it in Z - mine is 2mm larger than average. Print Settings: Printer: e3d BigBox Rafts: No rafts needed for this print job. Supports: None required, this design is self-supporting. Resolution: Printing at 0.6x0.2 resolution for a smooth finish. Infill: I chose to use no infill for a lightweight feel. Notes: For best results, use NinjaFlex or other TPU filaments and print slowly to achieve optimal performance.
