UV Light Meter Case

This is a specially designed pistol-grip-style housing for a UV light meter used exclusively in Wet Plate Collodion photography. The innovative housing features several key components: A Nokia 5110 LCD display is embedded within the structure. The device is activated using a dedicated trigger button conveniently placed for easy access. Underneath, an Arduino Pro Mini works tirelessly behind the scenes, ensuring seamless functionality. The user has real-time monitoring at their fingertips thanks to three light sensors expertly integrated into the housing. Communication is key in this context - hence, an RF transmitter is seamlessly incorporated, facilitating efficient data exchange. To keep the system running smoothly for extended periods of time, a 9v battery powers the device, conveniently housed within the lower section. Screws secure the upper part of the housing in place. Additionally, a screw-on cap completes the lower portion that holds the battery. The intricate design was modeled using OpenScad technology. I acknowledge that the provided code has its limitations due to subpar quality. For optimal results with printing, I recommend increasing the scale factor for the screw cap by 5% compared to standard values. During my initial experiment, printing multiple versions - each with slightly different scale factors (1.0, 1.05, and 1.1) yielded surprisingly better fit with 1.1 scale achieving most satisfying outcome
