I wanted to create a unique timepiece, so I pulled out my UV LEDs and glow-in-the-dark filament, which is exactly what you see here. The glowing disc was created using glow-in-the-dark (UV) PLA plastic that really stands out in the dark. Other components used in this project include: Arduino Nano (v3), which provides the necessary control for the clock 10x UV LEDs (5mm), which light up the display when illuminated with UV light 1x 28BYJ-48 Motor, a budget-friendly stepper motor that powers the clock's movement 1x DS1307 RTC Clock Module, which keeps track of the time accurately To complete the design, I also used some black PLA for the base and M3 nuts and bolts to secure the motor in place.
