UV Cure Cardboard Box
thingiverse
I needed a custom UV curing solution for my Uniz3D Slash Plus resin prints. After watching several videos, I designed and built my own curing box. Here's what I used: To make it work, I required the following materials: - A 10W 405nm UV lamp (available on Amazon) - A cardboard box measuring 14 x 12 x 20 inches - Heavy-duty aluminum foil, large size, 18 inches - A hot glue gun - Printed parts for assembly The downloadable file includes: - A bracket to hold the UV lamp securely - Corner pieces to strengthen the box design (two types) To assemble the curing box, I applied hot glue to the cardboard and attached the printed parts before wrapping it with aluminum foil. The shiny side of the foil should face inward. Note that the UV lamp is detachable from its bracket, allowing for easy removal and replacement.
