I Needed a Smaller Footprint Custom UV-5R Solution\r\n\r\nTo fit 15 of these radios into a suitcase for easy transport, I wanted to also have them charge on the go. Initially, I created a version using the original PCB (modified), but I preferred not to damage the original chargers.\r\nI soon realized that I just needed a simple 2S lipo charger - which could be easily sourced in China at a low cost.\r\n\r\nI printed 15 of these custom chargers and then repurposed an old laptop charger to supply a steady 10v voltage to all of them.\r\n\r\nHere's the BOM:\r\n1x Custom Printed Charger\r\n2x AAA Battery Spring Connectors (Available on Aliexpress)\r\n1x TP5100 2S Charger (Available on Aliexpress)\r\n1x DC Female Barrel Connector (Available on Aliexpress)\r\n\r\nFor the custom voltage supply, I used:\r\n1x Old Laptop Charger\r\n1x DC Male Barrel Connectors (One per charger)\r\n1x LM2596HVS Voltage Regulator (One per 2-3 chargers)\r\nSome Wire
