UV-5R Byonics BFoxCon Mount
thingiverse
This is a mount for the Byonics BFoxCon Baofeng Foxhunt Controller that allows the BFoxCon to be enclosed and mounted on the back of the Baofeng UV-5R. This case is designed specifically to work with 2.5mm pin headers (TTL serial and reset) soldered directly onto the BFoxCon board. The mount also provides support and protection for the speaker/mic cable and the BFoxCon power cable, using a modified version of the UV5R Speaker Mic Cable Support Bracket designed by EngineerChris. This bracket is completely optional and can be left out if desired. There are three different versions of the top lid available. The first has a hole through which the LED on the BFoxCon board can be clearly seen, making it perfect for prints made with opaque materials. The second version features an additional window that allows access to the 4-pin TTL serial interface connector, enabling users to program their BFoxCon units directly from the top lid. The third option has no hole at all, and is ideal for prints made with translucent materials that allow the LED light to shine through. For reference, here are the different states of the LED on the BFoxCon board: * A solid LED indicates that the unit is transmitting. * Fast flashing (20Hz) means that the unit is receiving DTMF signals. * Medium flashing (5Hz) indicates that the unit is receiving configuration tones. * Slow flashing (1Hz) means that the unit is in a transmit sequence but currently off the air. * An off LED signal means that the unit is not currently in a sequence.
