Utility Ship Superstructure

Utility Ship Superstructure

I redesigned the super structure of the utility ship to make it a bit easier to print, sand and paint. But also, included more curves and design enhancements to make the ship look more realistic. This has taken inspiration from several commercially available model boat kits such as mister darby and tug aziz. The walls and the roof are separate parts, hence can be printed separately. This allows they to be fully sanded and perform any body work before primer and paint. Detailed parts such as doors, window frames, light fixtures etc need to be added later as having them directly on the larger parts makes it very difficult to prepare them for sanding. Also, a resin filter can be used to make these smaller parts with more detail. More detail parts will be added to the mix in the future.
