Utility Blade Scraper
thingiverse
Update (2/27/2020): v2.6 Modified holder leg angle to enhance preload when closed so blade remains firmly in place now. Added filet to top of holder body. Embossed initials on the holder body. After numerous prototypes and a multitude of sketches, this is my interpretation of the Utility Blade Scraper. It accommodates standard-sized (Stanley) utility knife blades and can be used for scraping various surfaces like windows, printer beds, glass, or any area requiring paint, tape, or residue removal. The holder snaps open and closed securely (push down on the serrated part of the handle). To assemble, simply insert the smaller middle leg at 90 degrees to the rest of the body and attach the ball joint from above. Depending on your printer's tolerances, the blade is a snug friction fit in the bottom jaw for effortless loading. A hook loop allows convenient hanging on your printer or tool rack.
