Utility Blade Holder
thingiverse
My friend needed a way to carry two spare blades for his Makerknife in his everyday carry bag. He asked me to design and print a carrier that prioritized safety, so I took on the challenge. My goal was to create a giant blade-shaped carrier that would house the actual blade safely inside it. After some work, I think I achieved a good result. The magnetic component used is a 10mm x 2mm magnet from Amazon. The friction fit keeps the blades in place, but the magnet provides an extra layer of security. As this is my first project, I appreciate any feedback you can offer to help me improve it. Please let me know if you spot anything that could be done differently. I printed the carrier on an Ender 3 Pro using a 30% infill and no supports.
