I bought the Utilitech 45-Watt Equivalent Bronze Dimmable LED Recessed Retrofit Downlight, which fits housing diameter 3-inches at Lowes.com. Initially, the LED wasn't recessed far enough, making it too bright. To fix this issue, I used a PETG transparent filament at an 85% fill ratio with my 3D printer model. This modification diffused the light to the point where I no longer saw spots when looking around the room with these downlights installed.
