UTech Lab Train

This project combines the Toy Train Set by sconine (thing:11101) with the boundless imagination of students participating in UTech Lab's Design & 3D Printing workshops. We borrowed the tracks, wheels, and bodies of the wagons from sconine's design (thing:11101), provided precise requirements to each student, and asked them to design their own wagon for UTech Lab's train. Some were later painted with acrylic colors. Six wagons fit perfectly into the toy_train_body thing:11101). We took the Toy Train Set by sconine (thing:11101) and blended it with the limitless imagination of students participating in UTech Lab's Design & 3D Printing workshops. We used the tracks, wheels, and bodies of the wagons from sconine's design (thing:11101), gave each student specific requirements, and asked them to create their own wagon for UTech Lab's train. Some were later painted with vibrant acrylic colors. Six wagons fit snugly into the toy_train_body thing:11101).
