Utah Teapot (teaproof version)
thingiverse
Don't miss out on the King of Polygon! Phooky surpassed me by creating a printable Utah model that, however, is not suitable for tea-drinking. It took several hours of modeling to design a teaproof version of Utah with an accurate solid structure, no holes, and a manifold. The wall thickness measures approximately 3mm, and I added a rim specifically for the lid's resting place. This model is based on the 3ds primitive since I never managed to import the original data (thanks, Phooky, for explaining). So, get your printer ready and print your own analog Utah! To ensure proper wall thickness, use the original size; half might work as well. Note that you may require support material in certain areas - I haven't tested it yet. Allow ample time for your G-code generator to process the file; my Skeinforge took over six hours to complete.
