The Utah Teapot is a renowned object in computer graphics; it was part of Massey University Wellington's "Ghosts in the form of gifts" art project series in 2009, New Zealand. This series won the 2010 Award for Open Source in the Arts (NZ). The collection comprises replicas of imagined lost or misplaced artifacts from the Museum of New Zealand's previous location. They were created through drawing, digital rendering, and RepRap printing. The files are freely accessible under a Creative Commons Attribution Share-Alike license for educational purposes. Other objects in the series can be found with the "Ghosts in the form of gifts" tag. The design is based on Martin Newell's 1975 public domain creation, redesigned for RepRap by unfold and modified by Vik Olliver for Bronwyn Holloway-Smith.
