Utah Teapot
thingiverse
I'm thrilled to share this first printout from my trusty MakerBot Replicator 2X! I've taken a creative liberty by swapping out the classic Utah Teapot model for one that's more functional - it can actually hold water and pour it out through its spout. The handle of this teapot required some additional support, so I added a built-in feature that needs to be removed after printing. Both PLA and ABS materials are suitable for this project. I've set the layer height to 0.2mm for optimal results. Print Settings: Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2X Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% Notes: One thing to note is that there's no issue with printing the teapot's mouth - it comes out perfectly every time!
