UT61E cover for Li-ion 18500 and protection/charging board
thingiverse
This cover is designed to replace the original one in order to transfer the power of the UT61E multimeter to a Li-ion format 18500 battery, purchased from Queen Battery on Aliexpress with a capacity of 1600 mAh. This battery is placed directly into its native compartment, and next to it is a protection and charge/discharge board. Since the battery is charged only every few months, there's no need to create holes for the micro-USB port. The PSB is simply loose nearby, connected by wires. I printed this cover in PETG with supports, adding an inscription on top. This model is a very accurate copy of the original multimeter cover. All you have to do is choose the right offset of the inner wall and the slicing tolerance (in Cura). One important feature of this multimeter is that it works stably up to 2.5 V of power, so you can use ordinary lithium-ion batteries without a voltage booster. Enjoy your use.
